Professional Experience

Mr. McGavin supports all end users at Rimon with their software and hardware needs. He has a strong focus towards end user/staff technical support levels 1-4, all Cloud-based systems administration, infrastructure and upgrades, monitoring health of existing systems, special high-level projects, administration of storage/file server access and data security, phone systems administration, IOS and Android support, and new hardware/software requests.

Before joining Rimon, he worked as an Information Management Specialist supporting over 800 end users and many different pieces of hardware including servers, desktop computers, and laptops. Some of his responsibilities included: diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues for Windows Servers along with Hyper-V virtual system management, domain administrator over domain GPOs, WSUS, WDS, administrator for McAfee EPO, Barracuda, Meraki, and multiple other platforms.

Prior to that, he worked for two different Fortune 500 companies. 

He graduated from the College of Western Idaho with an AAS degree in Internetworking and Communications
