Brent Martindale practices in the area of Information Governance & Records Management. He has developed privacy polices for internet-based companies and helped implement privacy and data protection practices to comply with local and applicable foreign regulations. With substantial and current knowledge of international, as well as national and local, records retention and compliance regulations, Mr. Martindale is equipped to recommend retention and compliance policies for highly regulated companies.
In previous experience, Mr. Martindale served in the United States Marine Corps as a Financial/Procurement Manager, where he oversaw a team of analysts responsible for preparing financial progress reports, statistics, trends, and audits. Mr. Martindale managed the approval and transactional accuracy of a $40 million annual budget, streamlined operational process to identify and correct erroneous financial transactions and conducted quarterly quality control audits of 60,000 electronically recorded financial transactions to verify data validity and amount incurred by the Marine Corps. For his performance in financial procurement, Mr. Martindale was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
Mr. Martindale served as Intern at Rimon Law during his final year of law school. He is a graduate of California Western School of Law and San Diego State University. He is a fluent Spanish language speaker.
