Professional Experience
Amir A. Tabarrok is a registered patent attorney, and his practice focuses on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the electrical, mechanical and computer software fields in the United States as well as assisting with foreign patent prosecution. Mr. Tabarrok has extensive and diverse experience in patent portfolio development, patent portfolio management, patent prosecution, patent analysis, patent litigation support and client counseling as well as rendering patentability opinions, patent non-infringement analysis opinions, patent infringement analysis opinions, freedom to operate opinions and patent validity and enforcement opinions. He has worked with clients large and small, personally catering his services to each client’s specific needs and objectives.
Mr. Tabarrok represents clients in a variety of industries, including electronics, semiconductors, field programmable gate arrays, artificial intelligence, mobile devices, communications, networking, computer and electronics-related technologies, computer software, Internet technologies, encryption/decryption, blockchain technology, graphical user interfaces, storage devices, image processing, display devices, medical device technology, MEMS technology, mechanical and social media. Mr. Tabarrok has also been active with pro bono matters. He has experience representing U.S. military veteran clients before the Court of Appeals of Veterans Claims, as pro bono matters.
