Cross-Border Transactional Financing Attorney Emma Larson Joins Rimon’s Seattle Office as Partner

(Seattle) Continuing to grow its cross-border transactions teams, Rimon Law has added Emma Larson, who represents clients in secured financing and corporate and structured transactions, as a Partner in its Seattle office.

Ms. Larson joins Rimon from White & Case.

Emma Larson regularly handles large-scale aviation, satellite, and equipment deals. Her work includes extensive experience dealing with export credit agencies, financial institutions, aircraft and helicopter leasing companies, airlines, investors and major corporations both in the United States and around the world.  

The deals she has handled include leveraged finance and operating leases, portfolio acquisitions and finance transactions, restructuring and bankruptcy matters, asset backed securities transactions, syndicated loans, private placements and securitizations.  In addition, she supports major international corporations in general corporate work with a cross-border context.

Ms. Larson worked on a number of noted deals, including Trade Finance Magazine’s China Deal of the Year for 2014, Trade Finance’s Export Credit Agency Backed Financing Deal of the Year in 2010 and 2013 and Airfinance Journal’s Pre-Delivery Payment 2009 Deal of the Year.

Prior to law school, Ms. Larson worked as an environmental management consultant for MWH Global.

Rimon Law has recently added two other attorneys to its strong cross-border transactional team: Miami and Orlando Partner Robert Lee and San Francisco Partner Chris Terry.

The firm’s international corporate practice group has been a particular source of strength. The firm has attorneys who regularly manage transactions in Canada, Latin America, the U.K., Israel, Russia and Eastern Europe, and China.

Ms. Larson received her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, her M.S. from Lund University in Sweden and her B.A. from Swarthmore College.
