International White Collar and Compliance Attorney Jill Williamson Joins Rimon’s Washington, DC office

(Washington, DC) Rimon Law welcomes leading international white collar and compliance attorney Jill M. Williamson, who has worked as a senior in-house officer at two major companies handling anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, export compliance, sanctions and internal investigations issues, as Counsel in its Washington, DC office.
Ms. Williamson joins Rimon from Liquidity Services, Inc. where she served as Chief Compliance Officer.
At Liquidity Services, Ms. Williamson designed and implemented the global compliance program for a company with offices in 15 countries and operations in over 100. She created the Compliance and Ethics program, including a Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, hotline management, training and communications, internal investigations, board reporting and day-to-day advice and counsel to business partners.
Prior to joining Liquidity Services, Ms. Williamson worked at Cigna as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for the health insurance giant. She was responsible for handling OFAC, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering compliance, responding to governmental inquiries and conducting investigations.
Ms. Williamson had previously worked as an associate at elite firms including Patton Boggs and Alston Bird, where she handled white collar defense, government investigations and regulatory and compliance counseling, with a specific focus on cross-border transactions and enterprises.
At Rimon, Ms. Williamson joins a strong team of cross-border attorneys, including recent additions Stephen Diaz Gavin and Lisa-Marie Monsanto in Washington D.C., Emma Larson in Seattle, Robert Lee in Miami and Orlando, and Chris Terry in San Francisco.
The firm’s international corporate practice group has been a particular source of strength. The firm has attorneys who regularly manage transactions in Canada, Latin America, the U.K., Israel, Europe, and China.

Ms. Williamson received her J.D. with honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
