News Roger Parker Roger Parker · March 15, 2021

London  - Disruptive law firm Rimon PC is proud to continue its fast-paced international expansion with the opening of its new London office, its tenth new office since the start of 2020, with a major player in the London legal world.

Roger Parker, who most recently served as Reed Smith’s Managing Partner for Asia, and prior to that as Managing Partner for EMEA, will be working with Rimon’s London office as Director, United Kingdom and Strategy.

The position is a new one for the firm. Parker will be focused on expanding the fast-growing Rimon, particularly in the critical U.K. market.

Mr. Parker has been on the forefront of law firm growth and innovation. He played an integral role in driving the Richards Butler and Reed Smith LLP merger, which ultimately created one of the world’s largest legal businesses. He served on Reed Smith’s senior management team and, as Managing Partner for EMEA, laid the foundation for significant growth in European and Asian markets for the firm.

The opening of this office follows Rimon’s expansion into four new international jurisdictions – Australia, Germany, Colombia and most recently, France – and four new U.S. jurisdictions – Texas, Idaho, Alabama, and Oregon – in 2020.

“Roger Parker has spent his career pushing the boundaries of what his law firms can be and has driven growth with great success. At Rimon, we also have an ambitious vision: to create and ever-refine a more seamless, tech-savvy, value-based way to deliver top-level legal services that meet the needs of our clients and our lawyers – the law firm of the future,” said CEO Michael Moradzadeh.  “Roger’s proven drive, vision, and ability to execute make him a perfect addition to our team. He will be a critical player in our continued growth. We’ve increasingly seen that as our clients’ need for global, integrated, cross-border advice has grown, the model we’ve refined over the last 12 years enables us to scale with agility to quickly meet those needs. We are incredibly excited to have Roger’s help as we continue our international expansion.”

Rimon Partners Richard Ernest, Peter Wielgosz, Katie Hyman, Sam Miller, Federico (Fed) Salinas and Douglas Schneller will also be affiliated with the new London office.

Rimon’s reach now includes a presence on five continents, with offices throughout the United States as well as in Paris, Berlin, Bogota, London, Moscow, Shenzhen, Sydney, Tel Aviv, and Warsaw.  Its international team grew significantly in 2020, adding Partners including Andrew Reilly, Xiaowei Ye, Rodrigo Castillo Cottin, Mikhail Usubyan, and Sarah (Xiaohua) Zhao, and counsel Daria von Mensenkampff.

The firm’s international offices represent major clients in connection with a wide variety of legal challenges, including dispute resolution, cross-border M&A, investments, financing, capital markets, real estate transactions, private client and tax issues, operations management, intellectual property, and cybersecurity and data privacy.

Rimon has 37 offices across five continents. The firm is widely known as being at the vanguard of legal innovation. The firm has been repeatedly recognized by the Financial Times as one of North America’s most innovative law firms. The firm’s Managing Partners were both named ‘Legal Rebels’ by the American Bar Association’s ABA Journal and have spoken on innovations in the practice of law at Harvard and Stanford Law Schools. Rimon and its lawyers have also received numerous awards for excellence, including from Best Lawyers and Chambers.
