Financial Regulatory and Compliance Attorney, Dina Chowdhury, Joins Rimon’s Los Angeles office

Rimon Law welcomes compliance attorney, Dina Chowdhury, to its Los Angeles office. Ms. Chowdhury concentrates her practice in banking and financial services, working with asset managers and hedge funds as well as large commercial and investment banks, including Morgan Stanley, Banc of California, US Bank, BAML, and JP Morgan.
Ms. Chowdhury joins from Deutsche Bank in London, where she served as Vice President in the Fixed Income Trading & Structuring division of the Compliance Advisory team. There, Ms. Chowdhury provided primary coverage for the emerging markets, structured credit, flow credit, rates and strategic equities transactions businesses from a compliance and regulatory perspective. She developed training on the Dodd-Frank Act, Volcker Rule, OFAC sanctions and market abuse and insider trading rules. She was also recognized by the Bank’s board for her work on the control framework for the fixed income businesses she covered.
Previously to her nearly four-year tenure with Deutsche Bank, Dina practiced with acclaimed international law firm, Berwin Leighton Paisner, as an Associate in Banking & Capital Markets. Prior to that, Ms. Chowdhury served at Ashurst LLP, in the Securities & Structured Finance division. During her time in private practice, she advised on both UK and New York law, representing clients on various cross-border matters and transactions.

Ms. Chowdhury is qualified to practice in both New York and New Jersey. She obtained her J.D. from Case Western University School of Law, and completed her BA in English and BA in Philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles.
