International Litigation Attorney Stephen Díaz Gavin Joins Rimon Law as Partner in its Washington, DC Office

(Washington) Expanding its team of international practice attorneys, Rimon Law is joined by leading complex international litigation attorney Stephen Díaz Gavin as a partner in its Washington, D.C. office.
Mr. Gavin represents foreign governments and companies in U.S. trial and appellate courts, international tribunals and arbitration matters, as well as advising U.S. based firms in foreign litigation matters. He has also worked extensively on contested matters before regulatory agencies, especially administrative law disputes and rulemakings at the Federal Communications Commission and appellate litigation involving administrative agency decisions.
In addition to his litigation work, Mr. Gavin advises foreign clients, including government entities, on legal and policy matters involving the US courts, government and regulatory agencies.
Mr. Gavin comes to Rimon Law from his own practice, the Law Office of Stephen Díaz Gavin, based in Washington D.C. Prior to his own practice, Mr. Gavin also worked as a Senior Counsel at Crowell & Moring and was a partner at Patton Boggs for more than 18 years.
At Rimon, Mr. Gavin joins a strong team of cross-border attorneys, including recent additions Jill Williamson and Lisa-Marie Monsanto in Washington D.C., Emma Larson in Seattle, Robert Lee in Miami and Orlando, and Chris Terry in San Francisco.
The firm’s international practice group has been a particular source of strength. The firm has attorneys who regularly manage transactions in Canada, Latin America, the U.K., Israel, Europe, and China, as well as participate in litigation and arbitration matters in the U.S. and overseas for foreign clients.

Mr. Gavin received his J.D. from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, his M.A. from John Hopkins University and his B.A. from Wesleyan University.
