Employment attorney Natasha Dorsey joins Rimon’s Chicago office.

Ms. Dorsey joins Rimon from Foley and Lardner, where she represented clients in both federal and state labor and employment matters. She has successfully defended companies in trials, in front of state and federal anti-discrimination agencies and the National Labor Relations Board. Her trial work includes wage and hour class and collective actions arising from claims of misclassifications, off-the-clock and fluctuating workweek claims.
In addition to her trial work, Ms. Dorsey counsels companies in compliance matters, including creating employment policies, drafting employment, separation, confidentiality, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements. She also assists clients in navigating the legal issues involved in background checks, Fair Credit Reporting Act requirements, criminal history inquiries and other regulations regarding pre-employment matters.
Ms. Dorsey has also handled construction law, consumer protection law, general business counseling and commercial litigation matters.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Dorsey served as a project designer and manager in the construction industry, where she was involved in design, bidding, permitting, construction and closeout phases of projects.
Ms. Dorsey received her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law and her B.S. from Florida State University.
