Rimon Law Welcomes Real Estate and M&A Attorney Dmitry Kunitsa and Opens Office in Moscow, Russia

Rimon Law welcomes Dmitry Kunitsa, a leading international real estate transaction attorney who has handled many of the biggest deals coming out of Russia and Eastern Europe, as the firm’s first Partner in its new office in Moscow, Russia.
Mr. Kunitsa joins Rimon from Morgan Lewis, where he was also a Partner and served as head of its Russian real estate practice.
Mr. Kunitsa advises clients on both in-bound and out-bound transactions in Russia and Eastern Europe. He regularly handles major real estate development, investment projects, advises on complex M&A transactions, regulatory and compliance matters, and represents clients in Russian trial and appellate court and commercial arbitration.
Among his clients are major western and Russian companies in a wide variety of commercial transactions. His advisory work includes handling the regulatory aspects of commercial, and charitable activities in the former USSR countries. He also assists private clients and companies from Russia with all aspects of their business activities in the US, Europe and Southeast Asia.
At Rimon, Mr. Kunitsa will be joining a strong team of experienced International Transactions and M&A Partners, including Federico Salinas, Sam Miller, John Hanley, Mark Lee, Mac Waldbaum, Geoffrey Perusse and Ray Garcia who also recently joined Rimon. The firm has a significant market presence representing clients in deals throughout Western Europe, Israel, China, and Latin America. Rimon also opened an office in Warsaw, Poland this month. Rimon's decentralized business model complements Mr. Kunitsa’s practice and provides a means to tailor his service to the needs of his clients locally and internationally.

Mr. Kunitsa is admitted to practice in the Russian Federation. He is a Kazan State University graduate and received a M.C.L. from the University of Alabama in 1993.
